Kresimir is a retired Senior Research Scientist at Renaissance Technologies LLC (1989-2016) who contributed to building the company into one of the world’s largest and most successful hedge fund management companies with assets currently in excess of $50 billion. He was involved in the development of automated trading systems covering most of the world’s financial markets in equities, treasuries, forex, and futures. He is currently Director of Algorithms Development at TECLens, a biomedical startup company, as well as a principal of Clai d.o.o., one of
Croatia’s foremost wine producers. He is also a president of his family’s charitable organization, Aliis Inserviendo Consumor Foundation.
Kresimir earned his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University in 1992, and B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from University of Zagreb in 1989.
